I have never met a law enforcement officer or detective who does not think about those unsolved "cold cases." Family members and friends of the victim's have go for very long periods of time without ever getting closer on the loss.

As the time has lapsed, it becomes less likely the case will or can be resolved.  That is why it can be beneficial to have sets of "fresh eyes" as well as someone who "thinks outside the box" be involved in these cases.  While there is no guarantee that any of these cases can be solved, Forensic Consulting's experience dealing from the crime scene to court is often a benefit to these investigations.  The ability to understand the scene, the evidence, forensics and the investigative process can be very important in these matters.

Forensic Consulting is willing to work with any law enforcement agency in the re-investigation of these cases.  While I wish we could assist in these cases on a pro bono cases, practicality has to be addressed.  We can and will work with any law enforcement agency in such a way that meets the needs of the case and the agency with the hope that our assistance will lead to the finality that law enforcement officers and family deserve.
