Footwear
Impressions

Every
criminal must enter and exit a crime scene. Unless he or she walks on
their hands, there should be evidence of what shoes they wore.

Shoe
Prints, foot wear impressions and out-sole designs are one
of the least collected evidence at crime scenes. This evidence can
potentially place a party at the scene of a crime.

The
examination of imperfections or defects in the out sole
design can lead to the positive identification of a particular shoe.

The
quality of any footwear examination is dependant on the quality of photographs
taken from the scene or the evidence bearing the question print. For the
proper means of documenting footwear evidence, please contact FCA.
