Crime
Scene Reconstruction

"I
have no data yet. It is a capital mistake to theorize before one has
data. Insensibly one begins to twist facts to suit theories instead of
theories to suit facts."
Sherlock
Holmes "A Scandal in Bohemia"

The Crime Scene
is the starting point for all investigations.
Crime Scene
Reconstruction would be considered the "totality" of the investigative
process.

We do not assume facts nor render opinions
unsupported by the evidence. We also look at as many possibilities and
scenarios as possible and until it is physically impossible for an event to
occur, it is still considered.

Crime scene
reconstruction can also be used to determine witness credibility, something most
attorneys would like to know.
The results of our
reconstructions are placed in a "Report of Examination." We also
incorporate crime scene photographs, photographs taken during our
reconstruction, re-enactments, simulations and other supporting information in the
body of the report. In this manner we are able to demonstrate the basis
for our opinion.

Crime
scene reconstruction can afford the greatest amount of information related to
the incident in question. It also demands the greatest amount of time and
expense. We make every attempt to work with the attorney regarding the
monetary issues so this process can be completed.
