Testimony

"If the law has made you a
witness, remain a man of science; you have no victim to avenge or guilty or
innocent person to ruin or save. You must bear testimony within the limits
of science."

After the completion of the
reviews or examinations, our efforts are not complete. With each case we
recognize the potential of court room testimony. The staff of FCA realizes
we are more than just experts, we are educators. We place a strong
emphasis on providing sufficient background information to allow the jury to
make an educated decision.
There is more to testimony
than just reciting ones opinion. We believe our opinions can be best
supplanted through the use of demonstrative aids, such as photographs, diagrams
and models. Whenever possible we suggest what aids would be of use and
prepare them for our appearance.
We do not charge
"court fees", rather our court appearance charges are the same as our
examination fees. We are compensated for our time, not our opinion.

Before
any member of FCA takes the stand we want the attorney to fully understand the
opinion and its relation to the overall case. We appear to testify as to
the results of our processes in an impartial manner. We use or experience
in court to provide the attorney with the best means of presenting the material
in a manner that conveys the best understanding to the judge or jury.
